Our working groups continue in different locations throughout Istanbul, accompanied by Tamer Karatekin and other chess coaches in our staff. Preliminary agreements have been made to open some groups, and our work will begin if sufficient participation is achieved. If you are a chess coach, a teacher or a school administrator who wants your school to develop further in chess, it is possible for you to prepare your students for tournaments at a higher level in cooperation with us. Please contact us regarding our cooperation.
Our Tamer Karatekin Chess Academy working groups throughout Istanbul are as follows: Çapa, Fındıkzade, Atakent (in cooperation with Arena Study Center), Göktürk (in cooperation with Jupiter Education), Arıköy Sports Club, Bahçeköy, Bahçeşehir (in cooperation with Bahçeşehir Chess Education Center), Bakırköy (AFEM Culture and Arts). We have online live group lessons at various levels, from beginner level to the highest level with students who have completed their Turkish degrees. These online studies, supported by face-to-face studies, allow us to study quality chess with you more than once a week.
Our trainings are given by Tamer Karatekin himself and experienced chess coaches with pedagogical formation. Additionally, there are specially developed chess software, high-level video lessons and live online lessons that we make available only to our academy students.
Our recommendation for our online studies is to get a newly formatted computer only for chess and other academic activities. A simple laptop with an i3 or i5 processor will be sufficient for a chess study program that will last several years. Your software installations will be carried out by our team. To register for our online studies, you must select the time that suits you from your calendar or the coach you prefer and contact us. Our fee for our basic online work is 150TL per month, including VAT. This study includes 8 40-minute online group studies per month. Our groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people. It is recommended that you be in front of the computer 10 minutes in advance to enter the classes on time. If you pay a lump sum fee for our ongoing work during the autumn and spring school terms, our monthly fee will be 125TL including VAT.
